The Ordering Process

1. (1)
   Please prepare drawings of the mold component that includes the positioning of the cooling channels.
2. (2)
   Based on the drawings provided by the customer, we will propose a method for splitting the parts to enable P-Bas® bonding.
3. (3)
   After consulting with you on the optimal split configuration, we will design the pre-bonded components accordingly.
4. (4)
   We will then plan the full manufacturing process, including processing of the pre-bonded parts, the bonding itself, and post-bond finishing, and submit a quotation.

P-Bas® Bonding Quality Assurance

Leak Test Procedure

• We perform a leak test to confirm there are no water leaks in the bonded cooling channel component.
• The component is connected to a pump, and water pressure is applied to check for any leaks from the cooling channels or bonded areas.
• If the component cannot be connected directly to the pump, we will fabricate a custom test jig for leak testing (additional charge applies).
• However, this jig is reusable, so for repeat orders of the same part, no additional cost will be incurred for leak testing.
